Ajara Humanitarian Foundation (AHF), in collaboration with Ilaji Football Academy, is pleased to announce the schedule for the screening and draw for its expanded Under-17 Football Tournament. Originally reserved for secondary schools, the competition now welcomes U-17 football academies and clubs to participate, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to identifying and nurturing young talent from a wider spectrum.

Dedicated to empowering youth across Osun State through skill development, mentorship, and community support, AHF offers programs spanning sports & recreation, fashion design, beauty & aesthetics, software engineering, and more . Its U-17 Football Tournament serves as a flagship initiative in the sports & recreation arm, helping unearth promising players and boost grassroots football development in partnership with Ilaji Football Academy .
Screening & Draw Details
Venue: Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo
Date: Thursday, 25 September 2025
Time: 9:00 AM (prompt)
All participating games masters and team coaches are invited to bring their teams for the screening, which will focus on two criteria:
1. Facial appearance (identification purposes)
2. Maximum weight: 60 kg
The tournament draws will follow immediately after the screening exercises on the same day.
Tournament Kickoff
Competition will commence on Sunday, 28 September 2025, featuring two opening matches:
Match 1: Team 1 vs. Team 2 (Academies/Clubs Group)
Match 2: School 1 vs. School 2 (Schools Group)
