Hammola Football Club has officially responded to the resignation of its General Manager, Mr. Abdulrasheed Adeleke, who stepped down from his position effective September 1, 2025.
In a statement signed by the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Odeyemi Muhydeen Oladele, Hammola FC described Adeleke’s tenure as one defined by visionary leadership, professionalism, and significant impact on the club’s growth.
The management acknowledged that while Adeleke’s decision to resign was not an easy one, they fully respect his personal and professional reasons.
“Mr. Adeleke has been an integral part of Hammola FC, providing visionary leadership and leaving behind a record of impact, professionalism, and commitment to the growth of the club. His contributions will be remembered with deep appreciation,” the club stated.
The CEO further praised Adeleke for helping shape the club’s vision and raising its standards, noting that Hammola FC experienced remarkable strides both on and off the pitch under his management.
Despite the resignation, Hammola FC assured supporters of its resolve to continue on the path of growth and development.
“While his departure is a difficult moment for us, it also reaffirms our commitment to building on the strong foundation he has helped lay. Hammola FC remains focused, united, and prepared for the future,” the statement concluded.
The club also extended its best wishes to the former General Manager, expressing confidence that his next professional chapter would be as impactful as his time at Hammola FC.
