Ejigbo FA, Ileogbo Utd Lead Charge In Smartcity Osun State Football Super Six

The city of Osogbo is buzzing with excitement as the stage is set for the Smartcity Osun State Football League Super Six, a thrilling culmination of the second edition of the Smartcity Osun State Football League. Six teams have emerged from the group phase, and they will battle it out for the coveted trophy.

The group phase saw some intense matches, with teams giving it their all to secure a spot in the Super Six. In Group A, Ejigbo FA and Ileogbo Utd emerged as the top teams, with 10 and 9 points respectively. Telu FC, Ayedire Utd, and TACN FC Gbongan put up a spirited fight, but ultimately fell short. In Group B, Hommydays and Igbajo Utd topped the table with 9 points each, while 3FC NG, Leke Hamzat Feeders, and Ovit FA couldn’t make it beyond group stage.

The Super Six championship promises to be an exciting affair, with Crescent FC of Inisa and Mikaj FA of Ilesa joining the fray. The teams have been training hard, and the players are eager to showcase their skills. The league’s aim is to discover young talents that can represent the state in the FIFA TDS program.

The opening fixtures are set, with Ejigbo FA taking on Mikaj FA, and Igbajo United Feeders locking horns with Crescent FC on Saturday, 13th December 2025, at the Sports Complex of St. Charles G. S Osogbo. The matches promise to be thrilling, and the atmosphere is expected to be electric.

The Smartcity Osun State Football League has come a long way being the brain child of Mayor Sola Fanawopo led Osun FA, and the Super Six is the culmination of all the hard work. Iwo Utd were the champions of the first edition, and their success story is an inspiration to the young lads participating in the league. With over 85 goals scored in 60 matches, the Super Six promises to be a fitting finale to an exciting season.
