The Secretary General, Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), Chief Tunde Popoola has rained encomium of praise on Osun State Government for the progress made so far on the remodeling of the Osogbo Township Stadium.
The NOC Scribe made the assertion today when he visited the facilities.
Mr Popoola who was visibly happy with the ongoing construction said that the work is moving at a very high speed.
” The last time I came here, the work wasn’t this fast but seeing this today, I must confess that we are really moving forward as a state.”
” I went round the facilities being constructed, the main bowl, the hostel, Basketball court, handball court among others and I must say the Government under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke and his Deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi are doing what would go down in the history of the country as one of the best stadia ever constructed. “
” What I saw here today, after construction would be a State of Art Stadium capable of standing the test of time.”
” We need to praise the government for performing well in the sports sector as all other sectors.”
” The stadium after being remodeled will assist the state to produce more athletes that would represent us at the National and International stages.”
” In the near future, Osun State would be able to host National and International competitions. Said Chief Popoola. “
