The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has secured a kit sponsorship deal with Salis Ventilated Homes Limited for the senior men’s national handball team ahead of the 2026 African Handball Men’s Championship in Kigali, Rwanda.
The sponsorship was announced at a press conference recently in Abuja, attended by the President of the HFN, Jibril Saidu Ojih, and the CEO of Salis Ventilated Homes Limited, Alhaji Dr. Salisu Saliu Abubakar.
Jibril expressed his gratitude to Salis Ventilated Homes Limited for their support, stating that the sponsorship would help the team prepare effectively for the upcoming championship. He also noted that the deal is a testament to the growing interest in handball in Nigeria.
“We are delighted to have Salis Ventilated Homes Limited on board as a sponsor of our senior men’s national handball team,” Jibril said. “This sponsorship will go a long way in helping our team prepare for the 2026 African Handball Men’s Championship. The 2026 African Handball Men’s Championship is scheduled to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from 21 to 31 January 2026. Nigeria will be looking to improve on their performance in the previous edition of the championship, where they finished in seventh place.
