NLO 1 Side Gold FC Unveils Ogunseemi McShessey As Head Coach; Announces Full Management Team Ahead of 2026 Season

Following its official confirmation for the 2026 Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One season, Ede-based Gold Football Club has reached a major milestone in its technical preparation by officially unveiling its technical crew and management staff.

Leading the charge on the touchline is the highly experienced and decorated football veteran, Ogunseemi McShessey Olusesan, who has been appointed Head Coach of the club on a one-year contract.

Coach Ogunseemi McShessey, a household name in Nigerian football, brings a wealth of international and domestic experience to Gold FC. His illustrious playing career spans several continents and prestigious clubs, providing the tactical depth and leadership required for the NLO Division One campaign.

His impressive resume includes stints with:

International: FC Porto (Portugal), FC Groningen (Holland), USM Algiers (Algeria), and the Nigeria U-17 National Team (Meridian Cup, South Africa).

Domestic: 3SC Ibadan, Plateau United, Gombe United, Wikki Tourists, Kogi United, and Ranchers Bees Kaduna.

To support Coach McShessey’s technical vision, the President of Gold FC, Mr. Ayankunle Segun (popularly known as “Tee Gold”), has assembled a robust management team to oversee the club’s operations:
