NSC Unveils Competition Schedule and Venues for 9th National Youth Games in Asaba

On Saturday, the National Sports Commission (NSC) released the official key dates, sporting events, and venues for the upcoming 9th National Youth Games, set to ignite in Asaba, Delta State.

The Commission confirmed that the Games will kick off with the arrival of teams on August 26, leading into screening of athletes on August 28, followed by a grand Opening Ceremony at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Main Bowl on August 29, and wrapping up with the Closing Ceremony on September 7. Departures are slated for September 8.

This development refines earlier public communications that had indicated the Games would run through September 6 .
