Skouted Youth League gets an official match ball
The organizers of the Skouted Youth League have unveiled the official match ball for the tournament, which is set to kick off on Saturday, August 2, 2025
The iconic Lekan Salami Sports Complex in Adamasingba, Ibadan, will host the scouting league tournament for players under 19. Eight teams will compete in a home-and-away format.
The official match ball, the Nike Aerowsculpt, features a predominantly white base decorated with bold blue patches. Its precise weight distribution ensures that the ball remains perfectly balanced.
Mr. Adekunle Marooph Ademola, the facilitator of the scouting tournament, stated, “Like every football tournament, the official match ball is its identity. That’s what we’ve created with this innovation in the Skouted Youth League.”
He added, “The ball is eye-catching, featuring blue patch graphics and the tournament’s logo. The design of the new Skouted Youth League ball emphasizes simplicity, encouraging players to play with confidence and enjoy having the ball at their feet.”
Additionally, the league will include scouts from top-tier football academies, all looking to discover the next big football star. Over 500 talented football players across Nigeria are expected to attend the tournament.
