Since her appointment as Head Coach of Ahudiyannem Queens Football Club in February 2026 during the midseason transfer window, Adanna Nwaneri has orchestrated an inspiring revival that has redefined the club’s trajectory in the Nigeria Women Football League.
Taking over from Ann Chiejine at a time when the team was battling relegation concerns, Coach Nwaneri has introduced a renewed sense of purpose, tactical discipline, and competitive resilience. The results have been nothing short of outstanding.
Under her leadership, Ahudiyannem Queens have recorded an unbeaten run in four matches—securing three victories and one draw. Among the standout performances is a hard-fought 1–0 away victory against Sunshine Queens in Akure, a result that underlined her tactical acumen and marked a turning point in the club’s season.
The team also delivered an emphatic 3–0 home triumph over Osun Babes, while holding high-flying Nasarawa Amazons to a goalless draw, a good result against one of the league’s top contenders. In another impressive outing, Ahudiyannem Queens secured a 2–1 away win over Remo Stars Ladies in Ikenne, further highlighting Coach Nwaneri’s growing influence and tactical brilliance.
Prior to her move, Coach Nwaneri served as Head Coach/Technical Adviser of Abia Angels FC from July 2024 through 2025, where she built a reputation for player development and strategic innovation. Her coaching résumé is further strengthened by her role as assistant coach with the Nigeria women’s national under-17 football team, as well as her contributions to the technical crew of Heartland Queens FC.
